Facing pursuit by the Nobuseri, Kambei separates the party into three distinct groups to reach Kanna Village. He leads Kikuchiyo, Katsushiro, and Komachi on one path, while Gorobei, Heihachi, and Rikichi follow another. Shichiroji, Kyuzo, and Kirara travel on a third route. Throughout the journey, Kirara harbors deep distrust regarding Kyuzo’s true intentions. However, her skepticism is ultimately dispelled when Kyuzo intervenes to save her life, proving his loyalty and altering her perception of him during their escape.
