Jinto regains consciousness in a large chamber occupied by an elderly man named Srguf. This man is the second baron and Klowal's father, who was hidden away by his son due to embarrassment over his Lander heritage. While the young baron schemes to use the princess to establish his own micronation, Lafiel locates Jinto's confinement. She takes over the control room with assistance from Seelnay, the vassal assigned to her. Meanwhile, the elder baron expresses amusement at Jinto's familiarity with the Abh princess. The scene highlights the contrasting attitudes of the barons toward the princess and Jinto's situation within the confined space.
