Welkin, Alicia, Faldio, Ramal, and Isara travel to the Royal Palace for an award ceremony. Selvaria and Jaeger infiltrate the event disguised as wealthy foreigners. During the banquet, Princess Cordelia commends Faldio and Welkin for reclaiming Vasel and Kloden from Imperial forces. Jaeger warns Alicia outside the hall, prompting her to alert Welkin and Faldio about the Imperial Generals present. After Cordelia retreats to rest, she is abducted by an unknown attacker. Alicia wanders the castle, witnesses the kidnapping, and is subsequently knocked unconscious and abducted on the orders of Prime Minister Maurits von Borg.
