Ep. 8: Maximilian orders the destruction of Valkyrur ruins while Gregor captures Fouzen.

Faldio accuses the Imperials of trespassing on Gallian territory, prompting Maximilian to concede the point but assert that the land belongs to the Valkyrur, specifically Selvaria. When Maximilian tries to leave, Alicia attempts to shoot him, but Selvaria deflects the bullet with her sword, shocking the Gallians. Meanwhile, Isara and Ramal detect a disturbance and arrive at the ruins to find a massive tank destroying the site on Maximilian’s orders, which collapses the area and separates Welkin from Alicia and Faldio. Concurrently, Gregor’s forces seize the mining city of Fouzen and execute the defeated Gallian Regular Army general. Gregor expresses dissatisfaction with the easy victory, preferring to fight the Edelweiss rather than incompetent Regulars. Welkin escapes with help from Isara and Ramal, while Faldio and Alicia remain trapped. Faldio shares Welkin’s past with Alicia, and Welkin later uses his knowledge of babysitter lizards to find a path to them. Alicia’s gratitude turns to annoyance as Welkin bombards her with scientific questions about the lizards, leading Faldio to call Welkin an amazing guy.
