Welkin and Squad 7 ally with Faldio and Squad 1 to seize the heavily defended Kloden supply base held by General Gregor. After Rosie captures a porcavian pig, revealing an animal trail, Welkin devises a plan where the Edelweiss and Squad 7, led by Rosie and Largo, distract the main Imperial force. Meanwhile, Alicia and Squad 7 infiltrate the base via the trail, despite Alicia's dislike of Faldio. Alicia is shot but heals rapidly, surprising Faldio, and resumes fighting. Jaegar arrives with reinforcements to help Gregor escape as the Militia captures the base. Welkin stops Faldio from pursuing the retreating Imperials. Afterwards, Alicia keeps the porcavian pig and names it Hans.
