Ep. 4: Natsuno fears a watcher while Ritsuko investigates deaths and Toshio treats the dying Sunako

Natsuno sleeps uneasily, sensing a presence watching him through his window. Ritsuko discovers that Officer Takami died and his family left abruptly, replaced by Officer Sasaki. She notes that other families also moved away after a death, using the same moving company. Toshio attempts to resuscitate Susumu, Mikiyasu’s son, but finds Mikiyasu also shows early illness symptoms. He confirms to Seishin that Susumu suffers from anemia, yet both father and son die despite his efforts. Seishin meets Sunako in the forest, who explains her disease prevents sun exposure. Toshio informs staff that nineteen people have died since September 10th, including Mikiyasu, and they plan to report the cause to the Public Health Department. Exhausted from visions of Megumi, Natsuno stays at Toru’s house. He senses Megumi and Tatsumi are real, not nightmares, as Megumi becomes jealous of Toru and attempts to bite him while Natsuno remains paralyzed.
