Ep. 17: Saki investigates escalating war between Monster Rat alliances led by Kiroumaru and Yakomaru

Years later, Saki, now 26 years old, works in the Department of Mutant Management. Satoru visits her with news of an unprovoked attack among Monster Rats, whose colonies are divided into two large alliances. Leaders Kiroumaru and Yakomaru are summoned for questioning but exchange accusations without reaching a conclusion. The conflict escalates into war, where Kiroumaru's Giant Hornet army defeats opponents, notably excluding Yakomaru's Robber Flies. Later, Satoru returns to inform Saki that the Giant Hornets have been annihilated.
