Meanwhile, Richter directs Denken and Laufen to a similar establishment. Übel approaches Land, demonstrating her ability to copy magic through empathy by binding him with Wirbel’s spell. She attempts to steal his cloning magic, but Land persuades her that such an effort is futile. Denken’s group and Frieren’s party eventually cross paths at the restaurant, choosing to ignore each other. A flashback reveals Himmel’s party dining there, with the chef promising consistent quality. In the present, Frieren notes the food has improved significantly. The following morning, Stark mediates between Frieren and Fern before they head out for snacks. Lawine and Kanne spend the day in town, encountering the group at a bakery. Wirbel recruits Stark for a monster hunting request from the magic association. Lawine and Kanne thank Frieren for helping them pass the first test.
