EP 1Neku Sakuraba enters the Underground and joins the Reapers' Game to survive.
Apr 10, 2021Neku Sakuraba wakes up in the Underground, a separate plane from the Realground, and receives a mission to reach the 104 Building or face erasure. After being attacked by Noise monsters, he is saved by Shiki Misaki, and they form a pact that allows Neku to use Psychs. Shiki explains that they are participating in the Reapers' Game, where they must complete missions and survive for seven days. On the second day, Neku learns he can read non-player minds and meets Players Daisukenojo "Beat" Bito and his partner Rhyme. When Neku is influenced by Noise and nearly kills Shiki, Reapers Uzuki Yashiro and Kouki Kariya attempt to trick the amnesiac Neku but are stopped by a mysterious man. Later, band 777 helps Neku and Shiki defeat the Noise creature Vespertilio Canor.
EP 2Shiki reveals her identity as Eri and explains the Reapers' Game rules to Neku.
Apr 17, 2021On the fourth day, Shiki discusses her friend Eri, who designed her clothes, before helping feuding friends in the Realground resolve their conflict to stop Noise from spawning. They encounter a girl identical to Shiki, who is revealed to be Eri. Shiki explains that she assumed Eri's appearance as payment for the Reapers' Game, theorizing that Neku's memories served as his entry fee. The following day, the pair undertakes a mission involving a celebrity to promote Red Skull pins, which disturbs the audience. They see Eri mourning Shiki, prompting Shiki to clarify that the Reapers' Game requires the deceased to survive in order to return to life.
EP 3Neku and Shiki face the Game Master after Rhyme is erased on the sixth day.
Apr 24, 2021On the sixth day, Neku and others attempt a simple mission but let their guard down. Rhyme is erased while protecting Beat from a Noise sent by Uzuki and Kariya. Sanae Hanekoma cares for Beat while Neku and Shiki confront the seventh and final day against the Game Master, Yodai Higashizawa. After defeating him, Reaper Megumi Kitaniji informs them that only Shiki can return to life. Neku agrees to rejoin the Reapers' Game, prompting Kitaniji to take Shiki hostage as his new entry fee.
EP 4Neku forms a pact with Joshua and faces Minamimoto's Taboo Noise.
May 1, 2021Neku begins the Reapers' Game by forming a pact with Joshua Kiryu, a mysterious boy. Neku discovers he can scan Joshua, revealing glimpses of lost memories. They encounter the new Game Master, Sho Minamimoto, who incites conflict among players. The next day, Neku grows suspicious of Joshua due to returning memories. Together, they confront Taboo Noise, a powerful enemy emerging from Minamimoto's art pieces. Neku observes Eri buying flowers for Shiki before scanning Joshua again. This scan shows a vision of Joshua's death in Udagawa. Before Neku can question Joshua, Beat appears before them in Reaper form.
EP 5Joshua reveals his voluntary entry into the Reaper's Game at Hanekoma's cafe
May 8, 2021Joshua brings Neku to Hanekoma's Wildkat café, explaining he came from the Realground willingly to participate in the Reapers' Game. After receiving phone upgrades from Hanekoma, the pair observe that Red Skull pins are spreading rapidly. Later, while assisting 777 in locating a missing microphone to access other areas, more Taboo Noise appear, attacking both Players and Reapers. Neku and Joshua help Uzuki and Kariya deal with the Taboo Noise before heading to Udagawa. There, a scan suggests that Joshua was the one who killed Neku.
EP 6Neku discovers Hanekoma is the graffiti artist CAT while Joshua plays the Reaper's Game.
May 15, 2021Neku continues his partnership with Joshua despite believing he was killed by him. He observes Minamimoto creating graffiti, which Kariya identifies as a Taboo Noise Refinery. After battling Noise generated by the art, Neku clashes with Beat again, who drops a pendant belonging to Rhyme before being taken away. Encouraged by Players Sota and Nao, Neku learns from Joshua that Hanekoma is the admired graffiti artist known as CAT. Following a fight against more Taboo Noise, Kariya discloses that Joshua is participating in the Reaper's Game while still alive, causing distress for Neku. Simultaneously, Minamimoto readies himself for the final stage of his week-long plan.

May 22, 2021On day 6, Neku and Joshua help Kariya and Uzuki fight Taboo Noise bosses. On the final day, Uzuki assists Neku, who returns Rhyme's pendant to Beat. Confronting Minamimoto, Neku recalls that Joshua shot Minamimoto, who then shot Neku. After defeating him, Minamimoto self-destructs, prompting Joshua to sacrifice himself to shield Neku. Kitaniji appears, revealing he sent the mission to stop Minamimoto. As punishment for Joshua breaking rules, Kitaniji forces Neku to play the Reaper's Game again to save Shiki, banning him from future games.
EP 8Neku teams with Beat to find the Composer while evading Reaper forces and Game Master Mitsuki Konishi.
May 29, 2021Neku fights alone until Beat joins him as a partner. Beat reveals Hanekoma restored Rhyme’s soul as a Noise, hoping to become the new Composer to restore her. While searching for the current Composer, they encounter Game Master Mitsuki Konishi, who captures Rhyme as Beat’s entry fee. Konishi sets a mission to defeat her within six days and uses an Emergency Call to order Reapers with O-Pins to erase Neku and Beat. In O-East, the pair battles 777, who gives them their Key Pin before Konishi erases him for showing mercy.
EP 9Beat reveals Rhyme is his deceased sister while Kariya and Uzuki challenge Neku and Beat
Jun 5, 2021Beat discloses to Neku that Rhyme is his younger sister who perished in a car accident with him, losing her memory of him upon entering the Underground. As they resume searching for Konishi, Neku and Beat notice all Realgrounders wear Red Skull pins and cannot be scanned. After protecting Eri from Noise generated by negative demand for these pins, Kariya and Uzuki challenge the pair to a fight to retrieve Rhyme. Upon their defeat, Kariya and Uzuki discover the Rhyme provided by Konishi was a decoy. They offer their keypin as a consolation prize before succumbing to the controlling side effects of the O-Pins. Concurrently, Hanekoma finishes an unfinished Refinery, resulting in the resurrection of Minamimoto.
EP 10Neku and Beat confront brainwashed foes and a transformed Minamimoto in Shibuya
Jun 12, 2021Neku and Beat learn that Red Skull pins have brainwashed most Shibuya citizens, including Reapers, yet Neku refuses to blame Hanekoma for the Composer role. After locating a summoning circle via the camera app, they are attacked by brainwashed Kariya and Uzuki but defeat them by removing their O-Pins. They proceed to Hanekoma’s café, finding it destroyed, and use the photo app to locate a keypin left behind. This keypin grants access to a secret lair beneath the Shibuya River. Before reaching the lair, they are confronted by Minamimoto, whose body has been transformed into a Taboo Noise to become the Composer. Minamimoto overpowers Neku and Beat, then heads into the Shibuya River to face the Composer, with Neku and Beat following closely behind.
EP 11Neku and Beat confront Minamimoto and the shadow Konishi in the Room of Reckoning.
Jun 19, 2021Neku and Beat pursue Minamimoto, who reveals Konishi was hiding in Beat's shadow. Konishi fights them while Minamimoto confronts the composer. Beat saves Rhyme, enabling the trio to defeat Konishi, who admits Rhyme's memories were the entry fee. Shiki deduces the true fee was Rhyme's dreams. After Minamimoto is defeated, the group enters the Room of Reckoning. Kitaniji brainwashes Shiki and transforms into a dragon. Neku defeats Kitaniji, freeing Shiki, but learns Kitaniji is a Player whose desire for a blissful world attracts Noise, transforming him into a more powerful form.
EP 12Neku awakens in the real world after trusting Joshua in a life-or-death showdown.
Jun 26, 2021Neku, Shiki, and Beat defeat Kitaniji’s dragon form and proceed to face the Composer, who is revealed to be Joshua. Joshua explains he played a game with Kitaniji regarding Shibuya’s fate, then restores Neku’s memories, admitting he killed Neku to send him to the Underground to help destroy the city. Joshua challenges Neku to a gun showdown where Neku chooses to trust Joshua and allows himself to be shot. Neku subsequently awakens in the real Shibuya, with Beat, Rhyme, and Shiki also revived. During their first meeting in the Realground, Hanekoma speaks with Joshua, who decided against destroying Shibuya after witnessing Neku’s trust.
