That night, Esteban discovers the figure is merely a man in disguise and pursues him. The figure abducts Zia in a canoe, prompting Esteban to swim in pursuit. Esteban eventually washes up on a different island, where he discovers a village constructed within the branches of a massive tree. There, he reunites with Zia and meets the mysterious figure, who is revealed to be a native boy named Tao. The episode concludes with a mini-documentary segment focusing on the Galápagos Islands.
