Ep. 5: Wakana regrets discarding Mahiru's piano after reading her final letter

While Taichi competes in a badminton tournament with friends, Wakana becomes distracted by a letter. She later meets Shiho, Sawa's mother, who shares a high school photo of Mahiru with Naoko. Remembering past arguments with Mahiru over music versus exams before her death, Wakana asks her father to remove the piano from her room before his business trip. Upon returning to an empty space, she feels isolated and reflects on the letter, which reveals Mahiru's wish to write songs with her. This realization prompts Wakana to regret her decision to get rid of the instrument.
