Ep. 4: Konatsu reconnects with the Condor Queens while Wakana receives a letter from her late mother.
Aired on July 22, 2012

Konatsu encounters the Condor Queens, the band that inspired her musical journey. Wien observes Wakana being pursued by a foreigner who is revealed to be the group's third member and an acquaintance of Wakana’s deceased mother, Mahiru. Sawa grows frustrated with Konatsu, perceiving her prioritization of the band over choir club practice, and threatens to quit if Konatsu does not take the club more seriously. Seeking to resolve the conflict, Konatsu looks for a performance venue, which Wakana conveniently registers. Konatsu successfully reconciles with Sawa. During the music festival, while other groups perform on smaller stages, the Condor Queens present Wakana with a letter that Mahiru left for her upon her birth.
