Ran accompanies Rui and Midori to a hidden path, where they discover a traveler's deity statue after falling down an embankment. Ran hears a voice from the statue, leading the trio to research the deity Iratsuko Kashiwaba and his connection to the sakura of Onju. Iratsuko expresses a desire to meet a girl named Iratsume. The group visits a library, where an elderly man reveals that the Onju sakura is located nearby. They proceed to find the tree stump of the sakura of Onju. After placing the statue on the stump, Ran, Rui, and Midori witness the reunion of Iratsuko and Iratsume.
