Ep. 4: Ariel beats Kal-El after storm rescue while Claire is revealed as Nina Viento
A storm strands Claire and Kal-El, prompting a rescue mission with low expectations from instructors while classmates wait. Ariel recalls meeting Kal-El, who was introduced as an adopted brother by his rescuer. Despite initial rivalry, she sympathizes with him after learning about his deceased parents and his secret identity as the former crown prince, mirroring her own loss of her mother. Kal-El and Claire maintain morale by sharing stories, including his first flight with his adoptive father. They are rescued the next day, leading Ariel to angrily confront Kal-El for causing her worry. Meanwhile, Claire returns home where the countess scolds her recklessness and opposes her joining the flying corps. The countess then changes Claire’s attire, revealing her true identity as Nina Viento.
