Two months into the KANAE system's operation, arrest rates have increased significantly. Following Kunai's terrorist attack, Ran is now sought as a material witness. Koki has been transferred to the SARG department, which manages the KANAE system. Meanwhile, Shuta has had a falling-out with both Koki and Ran. With his father Rui in Paris studying, Shuta is occupied with managing the Aoi Bakery. He faces difficulties while attempting to bake the establishment's specialty, Golden Sunrise bread. During this busy period, he receives an email from Kozue, adding to his current challenges.
