Cappy leaves home to live with Boss permanently, causing concern among the other Ham-Hams. After Boss explains the difficulties of life as a field hamster, Cappy decides to return to his owners who are searching for him. In a separate incident, Laura accidentally damages Kana's sketch. When Laura visits Kana, she discovers that Kana came home early because she caught a cold and produced numerous sketches while recovering.
