Aired on October 19, 2005

Akagi and Yagi tie the first round, but Yagi cheats to win the second after Akagi takes the first. In the next round, Akagi forces Yagi to make a losing move by deliberately showing a tile. This victory clears Nangou’s debts, though he only wishes to leave. Akagi bets Nangou’s three million debt against the yakuza’s reputation, easily defeating a terrified Yagi. The yakuza must now pay Nangou three million. Akagi attempts to double the bet, but Ryuuzaki stops play as it is morning. Yasuoka convinces Akagi to agree to a rematch, securing the debt settlement and a signed commitment from the yakuza.
