Ep. 2: The trio pays Yūko to cross dimensions and enters a conflict involving the Kudan power.

Transported to modern Japan, Syaoran, Kurogane, and Fai seek Dimensional Witch Yūko Ichihara to grant their wishes. Syaoran wants to restore Sakura's memories, Kurogane aims to return home, and Fai seeks to avoid his king. Yūko explains their wishes are identical and requires a price: Syaoran sacrifices his relationship with Sakura, Kurogane gives up his sword Ginryū, and Fai offers the tattoo on his back. After paying, they receive Mokona Modoki, a creature enabling travel to random dimensions. They arrive in a dimension where a gang war between Kanio and Shōgo is imminent. Both leaders wield Kudan, a power manifesting as familiars. A boy named Masayoshi rescues them. When Fai removes a feather from Sakura from Syaoran's shirt, a stray blast blows it away. Syaoran retrieves it, discovers he possesses Kudan, and intervenes in the battle.
