Ayu initially rejects Kaji due to a misunderstanding stemming from Nina discussing his "dark side" and murmuring his name in her sleep, which led Ayu to believe Nina was interested in him. Nina intervenes to clarify that she does not like Kaji and reveals she has feelings for someone else. This clarification resolves Ayu’s confusion, prompting her to run to Kaji and confess her own feelings. Consequently, Kaji and Ayu become a couple.
