Ep. 18: Battler confronts Eva Beatrice while Ange arrives from the future to challenge the witch's existence.

Beatrice revives Kanon to protect Jessica from Eva Beatrice, prompting Battler to trap Eva in Purgatory. Battler theorizes Eva is the culprit but cannot explain Nanjo’s death due to Jessica’s blindness and his own alibi. Beatrice uses the red truth to deny witches, destroying Eva Beatrice and causing the unstable Eva to kill Battler and flee Rokkenjima. Battler reaches the Golden Land, where Beatrice and Virgilia expose their deception and demand he sign a contract to accept witches. Ange, dispatched by Bernkastel from twelve years in the future, saves Battler. Lambdadelta orders Beatrice to keep winning to stay with Bernkastel.
