Ep. 21: Ange reflects on past trauma while Maria seeks revenge for Sakutaro's destruction.

At St. Lucia Academy, Ange ignored her studies due to Maria, Sakutaro, and the Sisters of Purgatory, leading to public humiliation after a failed test. She rejected her magical companions as illusions, blaming their inability to counter her classmates' magic. In her diary world, Maria and Sakutaro were locked out while Rosa vacationed. Upon her return, Rosa faced child services and vented her anger on Maria by destroying Sakutaro. Because Rosa created Sakutaro's vessel and denied his existence, Beatrice could not resurrect him. Grief-stricken, Maria demanded magic training to kill Rosa and avenge Sakutaro. In 1998, Ange finally understood Maria's lessons on magic. She apologized to her still-summonable magical friends, seeking atonement for her past actions toward Maria.
