Ep. 24: Jessica and George die in magical collision while Beatrice tests Battler's identity and lineage.

Gaap swaps Jessica and George, causing their attacks to kill them both. Ronove briefly resurrects Jessica, who warns Battler about enemy magic. Hostages escape Kuwadorian but are eliminated until only Kyrie remains; she urges Battler to believe in witches before dying. Maria departs for her test as Beatrice calls Battler. He finds Gohda and Kumasawa hanged, then faces Beatrice, who challenges him to recall a sin from six years ago. Battler cannot remember, so Beatrice kills Kinzo in frustration. Declaring Battler unqualified, she reveals his mother was not Asumu and he is not Kinzo’s grandson. Battler questions his identity and fades away. Beatrice leaves with Maria for the Golden Land.
