Miyu meets Kiyoshi, who suffers headaches from telepathy, and his sister Kayo, whose psychokinesis triggers when he is distressed. The siblings rescue an abused stray dog, later returning with stolen money after Miyu interacts with Kayo. Kiyoshi then hears Miyu’s negative thoughts, warning Kayo to avoid her. The next night, Miyu identifies the dog as the shinma Cho-Jyu, who attempts to control Kiyoshi, and banishes him into darkness. Reiha arrives and freezes Kiyoshi, shattering him. While Kayo mourns her brother, Miyu puts her into an eternal sleep to relieve her pain, allowing Kayo to dream of happier times with Kiyoshi.
