High school student Chie receives a notification that her school is closed to host a viewing, prompting her and her friends to investigate the campus. Upon arrival, she finds her classmates waiting inside the classrooms, where a PA system announces the start of the event. The students issue a unified cry as they drag a coffin down the hallway. The room falls silent, and all eyes turn to Chie. She retreats to the back of the room, watching as the coffin lid opens to reveal a black mist and her own reflection inside. Chie then vanishes from the scene. Meanwhile, her friends arrive late, fail to locate her, and decide to spend time together elsewhere.
