Ep. 9: Saki encounters a mysterious park vision where she sinks into sand alongside emaciated figures.

Office worker Saki hears gossip about absent colleague Makiko before finding an unfamiliar park during her break. She experiences a vivid vision of a dark desert where ants sink into an antlion pit. A voice asks if she is tired, causing her to feel as though she is sinking into the sand. After returning to her office and facing managerial scolding, Saki wishes to escape. The following day, she returns to the park and the desert vision, where Makiko’s voice asks if she wants to go far away before Saki falls into the pit. At the bottom, an emaciated Makiko invites her to join. Meanwhile, a young man seeking directions finds the same park off his map. He sees people in the desert who reveal emaciated faces and laugh as he begins sinking into the sand.
