Ep. 6: Nobuo returns from fishing in a bad mood and hides his catch from his wife Eiko.

Nobuo arrives home from a fishing trip with friend Sakakibara, visibly upset. When his wife Eiko attempts to inspect his cooler, he slams it shut, claiming the contents are unsightly. The container shakes as if something inside is alive, yet Nobuo insists she leave it alone. Later, he rises from bed and walks stiffly to the kitchen. Eiko follows and sees him chopping a loudly squeaking object. She retreats to bed before he notices her. The next morning, she finds Nobuo asleep and the kitchen empty. Sakakibara’s wife then calls in a panic, reporting that Sakakibara has acted strangely since eating their catch. The call abruptly disconnects. Eiko hears groaning from the bedroom; Nobuo’s bedding moves unnaturally. She removes the covers and screams.
