Jaden counters with a new card called Transcendent Wings, which allows him to evolve his Winged Kuriboh into the formidable Winged Kuriboh Level 10. This transformation enables Jaden to secure victory in the match. Although he earns the right to promote to Ra Yellow, Jaden declines the offer. He chooses to remain in Slifer Red, a decision that brings happiness to Syrus.

The group enters the deserted building, where they are ambushed by Titan, a self-proclaimed shadow duelist hired by Crowler to eliminate Jaden. Titan captures Alexis, forcing Jaden to challenge him in a duel to rescue her. Despite his efforts, Jaden struggles significantly against his opponent and fails to gain the upper hand in the confrontation.
EP 6Jaden defeats Titan and rescues Alexis from the Shadow Realm
Nov 10, 2004Winged Kuriboh breaks Titan's illusion, saving Jaden from defeat. The two are drawn into a genuine Shadow Game where Titan is possessed by dorm spirits to continue dueling. With Winged Kuriboh's assistance, Jaden wins the match. He then rescues Alexis, and the group, including Syrus and Chumley, escapes while Titan remains trapped in the Shadow Realm. Rather than returning them to class, Alexis joins the pair in their search for Chazz. Their mission is interrupted by Wheeler, an experimental monkey equipped with a Duel Disk, who abducts Jasmine. Jaden engages in a duel with the monkey to save her. During this distraction, Chazz successfully leaves the island. Ultimately, Wheeler escapes his owners and joins his own species.
