Tomb guards surround Jaden, and their leader issues a challenge. Jaden must win a duel to escape with his friends. The situation forces him into a high-stakes confrontation within the ancient structure to ensure the safety of the group.

Witnessing this outcome, both Jaden and Zane become furious. Motivated by anger and concern for their instructor, the two students decide to take action. They set out with the specific goal of defeating Camula in order to rescue Crowler and restore him to his original form.

The spirits of Winged Kuriboh, Ojama Yellow, and Des Koala emerge, pulling the group into the spirit world where duel monster spirits reside. There, they encounter Kaibaman, a spirit possessing the voice, form, and deck of Seto Kaiba. He challenges Jaden to a duel intended to restore Jaden's fighting spirit. Although Jaden fights bravely, he is defeated in the match. However, the experience successfully restores his confidence, preparing him for the remaining Shadow Riders. Following this encounter, Jaden and his friends are transported back to their own world.
