An Amada representative suggests costly rewiring before leaving, prompting the duo to investigate. They discover a massive infestation of magic eaters, numbering in the hundreds, which they successfully eliminate. Impressed by their service and the savings on unnecessary repairs, the son decides to proceed with the Leon installation despite return penalties. That evening, Raul escorts an intoxicated Fino to his apartment after a heat wave hits the city. The next morning, Fino is found in his bed due to the cooler temperature, and the pair heads to work to find Nova unconscious on the floor.
