Ano Natsu ga Owaru

During an elevator malfunction, Hidemi's close friend Natsuko passes away, leaving Hidemi with lingering doubts about the true nature of her death. Meanwhile, Niwako, a promising talent at Shibata Production, is mentored by the agency head and is on the rise, but her path is disrupted by an unexpected meeting with a mysterious man named Kazuhito. In another story, Sandy, engaged to novelist Clint, lives in New York while he achieves success with his latest work, but as they prepare for marriage, the city's subways expose a hidden side of Clint. Lastly, a journalist named Billy encounters a man carrying a deceased woman through a crowded street and invites him to stay at his apartment, raising questions about the man's identity and motives.
