Ep. 56: Miki struggles with suitors while seeking Yuu, eventually taking a job at a store with Ryouko's help.

Miki is tired of all these boys confessing to her. She tries multiple times a day to call Yuu, to no avail. (Either 90's international calls in Japan were incredibly affordable, or she's costing her parents a fortune...) Michael and Kei discover each other, and begin to fight in earnest over Miki while Miki walks away. Ryouko sees Miki trying to call Yuu from the school phones and her desperate cheerfulness at tennis practice, and offers her a job. The job is helping Kijima's wife Rei at her new foreign import store. Ryouko meets the store's other employee and Rei's brother, Akira. Finally, Yuu calls home, and gives Miki Bill's personal number, which has an answering machine.
