Kin no Kuni, Mizu no Kuni

Two neighboring kingdoms, one abundant in gold and the other in water, were frequently at war until they agreed to a peace treaty requiring the most beautiful woman from the gold kingdom to marry the smartest man from the water kingdom. To avoid fulfilling this arrangement, each kingdom sends an animal in place of their designated representative. A minor princess named Sarah is sent a puppy instead of a groom, while the water kingdom's chosen man, Naranbayar, receives a kitten. Upon meeting, Sarah and Naranbayar decide to pose as a loving couple in order to prevent another war between their nations. Their deception raises questions about whether their plan will succeed and if genuine feelings might develop between them.
