Ep. 7: Esdeath hunts Night Raid while Tatsumi and Bulat protect a politician on the Ryuusen.

Esdeath pursues Night Raid for the emperor, leveraging Sheele’s death to motivate the team. Tatsumi struggles with grief but observes Akame’s composure, only to discover her hidden devastation after a midnight encounter. Night Raid faces a new threat: Imperial Arms users led by Esdeath, who assassinate politicians opposing the prime minister to frame the rebels. Leone monitors Esdeath, while Akame and Lubbock guard one target, and Tatsumi and Bulat protect another aboard the luxury liner Ryuusen. During the mission, Tatsumi learns Bulat’s history with the Imperial Guard. An impostor named Nyau uses his Imperial Arm, Scream, to incapacitate the crew, but Tatsumi resists. Bulat also remains unaffected and engages Nyau and a second impostor, Daidara, quickly defeating Daidara and subduing the others. The third impostor recovers and reveals himself as Liver, Bulat’s former general.
