Ep. 20: Rin battles a masked foe while Yukio investigates Neuhaus and rescues hostages.

Rin and Yukio discover monastery friends attacked by a masked figure using indestructible cobwebs. The culprit targets relatives of Satan’s son. Yukio encounters Neuhaus, who flees twice. Despite Kurikara being sealed, Rin pursues the attacker, but Yukio tranquilizes him. Yukio searches the sewers and finds Neuhaus again. Shura helps Rin master his flames. Tsubaki reports Ryuji, Konekomaru, and Renzo are held hostage in the academy dormitory. Mephisto is taken by Arthur for suspected unauthorized research. Yukio rushes to save the hostages but is captured. Shura is also trapped. Rin controls his fire, defeats the masked man, and frees his friends. Neuhaus helps the attacker escape. Shura reveals the masked person is a woman, identified as Neuhaus’s wife. Rin burns away the cobwebs from his friends. Yukio is summoned to meet a mysterious man.
