Ep. 9: Sinbad and Shera face a genie after accidentally killing his son during a desert sandstorm.

Sinbad and Shera become separated from their merchant caravan by a sandstorm while crossing the desert. They discover an oasis where Sinbad spits date pits, inadvertently killing the invisible son of a Desert Genie. The enraged father intends to execute Sinbad, who requests seven days to settle his affairs before returning for his death sentence. The genie grants this request. On his way back to the oasis, Sinbad encounters an old man with a hind. The man offers to reduce Sinbad's punishment in exchange for telling a story about his wife, who was formerly his sister-in-law. She used magic to transform his wife and son into cattle. Although the man unknowingly caused his wife's death, a wise woman restored his son to human form and turned the treacherous wife into a hind. This narrative is based on the Arabian Nights tale "The Merchant and the Jinni".
