Joe explains that he and Wavern defeated Masquerade using the Infinity Core's positive energy. Drago and Wavern disclose their past romantic relationship in Vestroia. Dan and Drago admit to Shun, Marucho, Julie, and their Bakugan that they failed their test. Dan clarifies that while they defeated Apollonir, they must defeat all brawlers' Bakugan for Drago to evolve. Julie and Gorem challenge Dan first, resulting in a hard-fought victory for Dan and Drago. Marucho then battles Dan and Drago, who win again. Shun postpones his match against the exhausted Dan and Drago until the next day.
