A hospital strike leaves a child unable to secure medical care for his father. After encountering a young woman seeking assistance, they attempt to transport the patient to another facility. A lightning strike causes a tree to fall, blocking their path and forcing them to locate the refusing physician. Black Jack intervenes and begins surgery under the threat of another falling tree. When the tree collapses onto the doctor, he begs for help. Black Jack initially declines, citing a personal strike, but ultimately agrees to perform the operation after the doctor acknowledges his error.
