Ep. 93: Bounts Attack Seireitei as Ichigo’s Group Searches Rukongai for Them

Ichigo and his companions search various parts of the Rukongai for the Bounts. During this search, Rukia Kuchiki is attacked by the Bount Yoshi. Without her zanpakutou, Rukia is quickly overpowered by Yoshi. Meanwhile, Yamamoto explains the origins of the Bounts to the assembled captains. A messenger informs him that Rukia is fighting a Bount. As Rukia is about to receive a fatal blow from Yoshi, captain Byakuya Kuchiki arrives and attacks her. Following the fight, several buildings in the Seireitei explode. This event occurs during the Bount: Assault on Soul Society arc, specifically episode 2 of 18.
