Ep. 5: Satoru flees police suspicion while investigating Kayo's disappearance with Airi's help.

Frustrated by his inability to prevent Kayo's disappearance, Satoru witnesses her mother discarding belongings before being transported back to 2006. Still suspected of Sachiko's murder, he evades the police and finds refuge with Airi, who believes in his innocence. He discovers that his previous actions altered the details of Kayo's case slightly. The following day, Satoru conducts further investigations while Airi intervenes to stop her manager from reporting him to authorities. That night, after assisting Satoru in hiding, Airi receives a text message from Sachiko's phone and subsequently becomes trapped in a house fire.
