Ep. 4: Kitayama's Beach Film Wins While Nanako Faces Vocal Doubts

Team Kitayama finishes their summer assignment by filming a movie on the beach with help from Eiko and the fine arts club. During a part-time job, Kyoya meets Keiko Tomioka, an alum leading the dojin circle Hallucigenia Soft. At the semester start screening, Kitayama's film wins first place over a professionally acted entry due to superior technical aspects, as Kano explains to Nanako. The group celebrates at a karaoke parlor where Eiko questions Nanako's singing commitment, causing Nanako to leave upset. Eiko later apologizes to Kyoya for her jealousy and asks him to reconcile with Nanako. Keiko visits the fine arts club room to offer Kyoya work, which he declines. That night, Kyoya plays a recording of Nanako's songs at the share house, noting her pitch issues but encouraging her to continue her singing career.
