Batta shares her suspicions about Kiseru with Boruto, while Kawaki and Sarada assist Mitsuki in their investigation. Upon returning, Boruto and Batta receive envelopes containing numbered tags from 1 to 8, tasked with obtaining a total of 7 points within two hours before Ouga teleports them away. Kiseru discovers his communication device is missing, likely taken by Batta during a prior altercation. Boruto, Yatsume, Shamo, and Namua combine their numbers and discover the bodies of Batta and Fugou. Rokuro arrives with their tags and demands a fight. Meanwhile, Sarada and Kawaki find Mitsuki trapped, who claims he was attacked by rogue shinobi. Namua sacrifices himself to help Boruto defeat Rokuro, who reveals Batta and Fugou were already dead when he took their tags, implicating Kiseru. Boruto sends the others to safety while waiting for Kiseru to arrive with his tag.
