Boruto pacifies the arguing survivors, prompting them to share their thoughts. Ouga arrives and forces them to select the next experiment. Concurrently, Sarada discusses the missing train passengers with Kawaki, while Mitsuki continues his investigation. The survivors are trapped in a sealed room with a spiked ceiling that descends slowly. Boruto notices the floor is thin and leads the group in breaking through it. They escape alive, earning Ouga's approval. Batta, a Hidden Cloud kunoichi, privately informs Boruto of her suspicion regarding a mole among the eight survivors, presenting a communication device she discovered. Meanwhile, Sarada and Kawaki's inquiry reveals that Kiseru is an Outer for Kara.
