Anthony and Candy help Tom deliver milk, sparking gossip that enrages Great-aunt Elroy. She confines Candy and sends Anthony to Albert’s old mountain mansion. There, Anthony works and trains a pigeon to carry a message to Candy, assuring her he loves his new freedom and situation.
