Ep. 24: Candy and Anthony ride to a hilltop before Anthony falls into a bear trap
Candy experiences nightmares after a fortune teller visit and notices roses losing petals, recalling Anthony's mother's death. She reconciles with Great-aunt Elroy and abandons her superstitions when Anthony laughs at the situation. During the annual fox hunt, Candy welcomes the guests before she and Anthony ride to a hilltop significant to him. Candy compares it to her Pony's Hill, which Anthony hopes to visit. Anthony discusses his mother's love for horses, and when asked about her hilltop prince, Candy identifies Anthony as her prince. Anthony hints at a secret to share after visiting Pony's Hill. He suddenly realizes the mystery of the hilltop prince involves a boy resembling him who accompanied his mother. Before he can explain, Anthony is thrown from his horse by a bear trap and never wakes up.
