Ep. 25: Candy copes with Anthony's death and finds hope in a blooming rose

During the Ardley family burial of Anthony, Candy endures a high fever and distressing dreams while the rose garden appears lifeless. Great-aunt Elroy and Candy remain isolated in their rooms. After Elroy permits Neil to remove items from Anthony’s room, Candy confronts Eliza and gardener Mr. Hoittman as they uproot the roses. She passionately argues that Anthony’s spirit will return when the flowers bloom, causing the servants to reconsider their actions. Later, Annie visits Candy at her father’s suggestion and encourages her to remember Pony's Home. Upon returning, Annie spots a single blooming Sweet Candy rose. Candy transplants this flower on Pony's Hill, seeking solace during a holiday for the sorrowful heart.
