Ep. 7: Candy seeks elegance and meets Archibald Cornwell at Ardley estate

Mr. Leagan discovers Candy remains in the attic after Mrs. Leagan and the children return. Following a dispute, he agrees to let Klint reside in the stables. Candy strives to walk elegantly to please Mrs. Leagan, who acknowledges her efforts but dismisses them. Eliza complains that Candy prefers servants over her company, leading Mrs. Leagan to demote Candy to a servant while Mr. Leagan is away. Upset, Candy visits the closed gates of the Ardley estate hoping to see her prince. She instead encounters Archibald Cornwell under adventurous circumstances. Although he is not her prince, the estate appears to contain many interesting and friendly individuals.
