Mrs. Leagan banishes Klint after discovering Candy performing voluntary chores, but Candy secretly hides him in the barn to prevent him from being left in the forest. Neil and Eliza witness Klint following Candy and harass her by stealing her prince’s pendant, threatening to expose him to their mother. After retrieving the item, Candy flees toward Pony's Home but stops upon seeing a prince at grand rose gates bearing the Ardley family crest, identical to her pendant. The figure vanishes as she smiles, offering the same compliment as before. Abandoning her original destination, Candy returns joyfully to the Leagan residence, singing as she goes.
