Ep. 74: Candy and Franny navigate hospital transitions and learn teamwork at Saint Joanna Hospital

On their final day at Joseph Hospital, Franny forces Candy to announce their departure, causing friction with patients and colleagues who favor Franny. Candy realizes that effective medical care requires collaboration between doctors and nurses. The students are surprised by a farewell party organized by the patients and staff, which moves even the stoic Franny. Upon arriving at the large Saint Joanna Hospital in Chicago, Candy is repulsed by the bureaucratic environment and objects when a nurse dismisses a distressed child as a minor emergency. To her surprise, Franny supports Candy in defending Merry Jane. The five students then treat the boy’s wound together, leading Candy and Franny to recognize that they must complement each other’s weaknesses to succeed.
