Ep. 9: Vampire suicide bombs threaten subway while Mina and Hysterica negotiate a truce.

Hysterica’s vampire army uses Agni’s Blood capsules to trigger suicide bombings via cellphone signals in subway stations. Veratos reveals she serves Queen Lucretia, Mina’s mother, before detonating a device that collapses the building where she and Mina were negotiating. Hysterica drops her phone, which Mina fails to retrieve. Underground, Mina explains that aluminum foil and signal blockers protect the station. Desperate, Hysterica orders a weakened Nanami to initiate the signal from a rooftop. Yuzuru stops Nanami by stabbing her, knowing of her obsession. Meanwhile, Akira finds a depressed Hikosaka on a train, which explodes as he commits suicide. Hysterica attempts to kill Nanami and Yuzuru by breaking a bridge, but Mina transforms to save them. Hysterica realizes the knife in Nanami contains Mina’s blood extract, establishing Mina as the new master. Nanami stabs Hysterica, and Veratos ignites her with Agni’s Blood. Yuzuru chooses to become a vampire to stay with Nanami.
