Ep. 5: Vampire Princess Mina Faces Political Opposition and Zombie Attack

Students remain surprised by Mina’s vampire status while Yuki helps her in nutrition class. A TV report reveals Prime Minister Katsuichi Mizoguchi opposes the Special Zone Establishment Bill. Yuki notices Mina wearing a ring previously given to Akira, prompting Mina to assert his role is solely to serve her. Ryohei shows Akira photos linking Nanami’s attack to vampires. After Akira and Yuki are ambushed by uniformed zombie vampires, Mei Ren intervenes to save them. They escape to a warehouse where Akira recalls memories upon seeing Mina, and Yuki admits witnessing their initial attack. Meanwhile, Mina visits Mizoguchi to persuade him to drop his opposition but fails. It is revealed that Mina sent Nella to kidnap Shinya Mizoguchi, the prime minister's grandson, after he refused to reason with her.
